This Privacy Policy describes how One Shot Planner ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.
We use Apple Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, we collect your user ID and email address (if not hidden via Apple's "Hide My Email" feature) to create and manage your account.
When you use the App, we store the task and event information extracted from your images, including: titles, notes, due dates, start dates, locations, URLs, emoji, color, and recurrence rules. This data is stored on our servers until you approve and save it to your local Reminders or Calendar app, at which point it is deleted from our servers.
Images you share with the App are temporarily uploaded to our servers and sent to the Gemini API for task/event extraction. After processing is complete, the original image is automatically deleted from our servers. We do not retain your images.
We track the number of successful extractions and approved tasks/events to manage your free tier usage limit. This includes a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your Apple Sign-In identifier to prevent misuse of the free tier through account deletion and re-creation. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
We collect your push notification device token to send you notifications about extracted tasks and events. This is required for the notification feature to function.
If you subscribe to One Shot Planner Pro, we collect your subscription status through RevenueCat to verify your entitlement. We do not collect or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, etc.).
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
The App uses the following third-party services:
Images you share are sent to the Gemini API (provided by Google) to extract task and event information. Gemini processes the image and returns structured text data (titles, dates, notes, etc.). After processing, the image is deleted from our servers.
We use the paid tier of the Gemini API. Google does not use prompts or responses from paid services to improve their products. For more information, please refer to the Gemini API Terms of Service ("How Google Uses Your Data").
We use Firebase Authentication for managing Apple Sign-In. Firebase may collect your email address, user agent, and IP address for authentication and security purposes. For details, see Firebase's Privacy and Security documentation.
We use Convex as our database and backend service. All data stored in Convex is encrypted at rest. For details, see Convex's Privacy Policy.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects your purchase history and device/app version information. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
We use Apple Sign-In for user authentication. Apple provides us with your user ID and email address. For details, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Images are automatically deleted from our servers immediately after AI processing is complete.
Task and event data is deleted from our servers when you approve it (it is then saved locally to your Reminders or Calendar app). Pending (unapproved) tasks/events remain on our servers until approved or deleted.
You can request account deletion from within the App. Upon deletion, all your tasks, events, groups, and user statistics will be permanently deleted from our servers. A hashed usage counter (which cannot identify you) may be retained to enforce fair usage of the free tier.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except as described in Section 3 (Third-Party Services) for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest (via Convex) and secure token storage (via iOS Keychain). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
